Jumping into 2020 Instagram is still the most popular social media app and its not going anywhere + its my favorite.
Here the top Instagram trend going into 2020!
As of last year, many people have said goodbye to the perfectly styled and curated feed. We have seen less and less of the picture-perfect life and more of the real true behind the scenes story.
So, it’s NO surprise the biggest trend moving into 2020 is to be authentic & real.
Your audience wants to get to know YOU they want to see the face behind the business & brand. Yes the pretty pictures are important because well Instagram still is a visual platform but let your personality shine in the captions. Think of y our captions as a “mini blog” a place to connect with your audience, add value, and let them get to know you and what you offer.
Another great tool to use is Instagram Stories, while your feed is like your “magazine cover” your stories are YOU! The behind the scenes, real look into who you are and what your business is all about.
With IGTV growing, YouTube making a comeback, & TikTok taking the scene by storm video is what its all about.
Let people fall in love with you by showing up consistently on video, whether its going LIVE, IGTV, or Stories talk to your audience in video form to get the most attention.
Less focus on likes and more focus on saves + shares!
This one I’m super excited for, some Instagram users have already said goodbye to likes and I’m sure its expected we all will at some point. With this new update going into effect Instagram has moved completely away from likes and is focusing on content that is worthy of being saved or shared by the user. So when you’re creating content make it so valuable that your audience has no choice but to save it.
This goes hand in hand with being real & authentic. Your audience is smart, they can tell when you’re just looking at them as dollar signs. Its time to say “see ya” to the copy and paste “hey girl” messages and start actually caring about your audience. Get to know them, share your knowledge, and focus on making friends not sales. After all people buy from people they trust and who do we trust? Our friends.
Influencers will continue to be in high demand.
Ever notice how when you hear about a new product or new hangout spot you look it up on Facebook or Instagram? Social media is almost like the new google. . . kind of.
We (yes we, because im guilty too) take advice from what we see on Instagram and buy from what influencers are sharing, it’s the new and best way to market / sell your product.
Ready to take over Instagram in 2020?
Which of these is your favorite trend?
